I'm New... What Should I Expect?

Joy Christian Center is a Church Family where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and where everyone is always welcome and loved. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Jesus and where they can discover their gifts and use them for both God's glory and His Kingdom purposes.

Our services start at 10:30am and  last about 90 minutes. Our typical service consists of us singing Spirit-filled praises to God together, having a time of prayer, and then listening to an encouraging and inspiring sermon that is based on God's divine and inspired Word - the Bible.  For those with children, there is Sunday School for little ones, children, and youth of all ages. We rent space from a church called New Hope Community Church, so don't be surprised when you see thier sign when you arrive. If you do, that just means you're in the right place.  After you park, look for our signs that have our circular logo and that say "Joy Christian Center." We meet in the Fellowship Hall on the first floor in the middle of the church campus. If that's confusing at all, just simply look for our bright yellow signs, you won't miss us. We hope you will plan to hang around after the service so we can get to know you better.
